Study on antidepressants use in pregnancy
You can help other pregnant women, participate today!
Antidepressants are among the most prevalent medications used during pregnancy (14%). Data is lacking on the effect of discontinuing vs. continuing antidepressant use during pregnancy on the overall health of the mother and the baby as well as the cognitive and behavioural development of children.
We are planning to recruit 300 women using antidepressants at the time of the pregnancy diagnosis as well as 100 women who are not using antidepressants during pregnancy, and to follow them until 1 year after delivery.
